A new year comes new music. An up and coming artist by the name of Brandon Jarod is the talk of 2011. This Hampton Roads resident's musical style consist of rock/alternative/indie with the influences of Jimi Hendrix, Parliament Funkadelic, Radiohead, Prince and a list of numerous other artists. As a child, he developed a love for music by listening to his father's collection of albums even air playing a guitar with a baseball bat. Noticing this from his parents, he was given a guitar as a Christmas gift when he was 18. From then on, Brandon would practice everyday until he felt he was ready to let others know what he's made of.
Brandon went on to perform in over 15 bands ranging from rock to hip hop and becoming an opening act for the likes of Jasmine Sullivan, Hezekiah, and Jaguar Wright just to name a few. He also toured Amsterdam, New York, and North Carolina in a short period of time. Even becoming one of the most talented guitarist in the area. He recently released his debut EP entitled "The Crush" which is available on iTunes and Amazon containing tracks such as "Put it in a Love Song" and "No Solution" which has a smooth groove you'll love to dance to.
